Waterford’s All-Star winning goalkeeper Stephen O’Keeffe has been invited back onto the county’s senior hurling squad.
The Ballygunner shot-stopper last featured for Waterford in December 2020 in the All-Ireland hurling final defeat against Limerick in Croke Park.
We have two great goalies there at the moment. We have talked to him. We'll see over the next few weeks. Stephen will make up his own mind. He knows that we'd like him back. At the end of the day, the only one who can make that decision is Stephen himself.“

What a player that would be for Waterford to get O’Keefe back in the mix heading into the league and Championship. It’s going to be a massive year for Waterford, especially after last years disappointment, can the blue and white of Munster get out of the Munster Championship this summer?
