WATCH: Our reporters preview the weekend’s GAA

Posted by

Sports reporters Shaun Cronin and Peter McNamara sat down to discuss the GAA action we can look forward to this weekend.

Today is all about the football. Ulster will have at least one representative in the All-Ireland semi-finals – with the final two places up for decision this evening.

The first is an all-Ulster affair, with provincial champions Monaghan keen to extend their season with victory against Tyrone. Following that Donegal face Mayo in a repeat of the 2012 All-Ireland final.

It is do or die time for Kilkenny and Waterford tomorrow. For one county the season ends on Sunday, while the other team book their place in the All-Ireland SHC final.

Kilkenny are the bookies’ favourites, but Waterford have impressed this year, and will have the traditional underdog support as they try to defeat Cody’s men in Croke Park.
