Costa Rica manager and former Premier League striker Paulo Wanchope ended up exchanging blows in the stands last night, when he attempted to enter the pitch at the end of a match.
Wanchope was apparently irate over the result of the U23 game between his side and Panama and wanted to challenge the referee.
When he was blocked from accessing the pitch he lashed out at the stewards.
The move backfired though as he came out the loser in the scuffle despite being about a foot taller than the other guy.
The former West Ham and Manchester City footballer is 6’4”, but that didn’t deter his opponent.
