Sky Sport have compiled 5 of Wayne Rooney’s greatest Premier League goals and it is a blast from the past.
The 35 year old English legend racked up an amazing 491 Premier League appearances where he scored 208 goals with 103 assists according to the Premier League.
Rooney started his career at Everton, taking the English top flight by storm and beginning to cement his place with the greats from an early age. His first Premier goal was an absolute cracker against Arsenal and earned itself a place in the top 5.
Another notable mention would be his absolutely thunderous volley against Newcastle that will be in highlight reels for years to come as he smashed into the back of the net from outside of the box.
