Tyrone Mings was sent off the pitch early today as he earned himself 2 yellows from referee Anthony Taylor. Villa didn’t let these 2 yellows hamper their spirits as they went on to score 2 more goals and extend their lead to 3 with just 10 men on the field. Tyrone earned his second yellow for pushing Wilfried Zaha to the ground just inside the Villa half and Anthony had seen enough, giving Mings his marching orders in the 45′.
Tyrone had only earned his first card just 6 minutes earlier.

Did Mings deserve to be sent off here or was Taylor too harsh on him, it seems like there were enough Villa players in the half that pushing Zaha down wasn’t stopping the attack too harshly, just a lapse of judgement from the England International.
