Since joining Manchester United in January 2020 from Sporting, Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes has become a fan favourite at Old Trafford thanks to his quality, goals, assists and also his mentality.
Fernandes can be seen regularly shouting, complaining and giving out to his teammates both on and off the pitch and it seems it was something United lacked.
The United no.18 has been likened to former captain Roy Keane due to both mens desire to win, their natural leadership qualities and not being afraid to let their teammates know when they’re not pulling their weight.
Footage has emerged which proves the similarities between Keane and Fernandes likeness and it happened after United’s equaliser against Southampton during their remarkable comeback in November.
Edinson Cavani had just equalised for ‘The Red Devils’ and instead of wanting to run off celebrating Fernandes screamed at his teammates to get back into position so the game could restart and United could go hunting for a winner.
After Cavani scored the second goal, all of the players went to celebrate only Bruno Fernandes who doesn't celebrate with the team, He rather asked them to come back in to score the third goal.
What a mentality this player has! 🧠 pic.twitter.com/CSsQT7lCoo

Fernandes ultimately got his wish as Edinson Cavani scored his second – and the winner – in the 94th minute, clinching all 3 points for Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
