Ndombele got Jose Mourinho’s men off to the best start possible at the Molineux tonight, he fired one past Rui Patricio from range in the 57th second giving his side an early 1 goal lead. Wolves are well drilled side who have shown themselves to be difficult to get past on multiple occasions. Jose will be happy if he can get his men to hold this lead for the first 45 minutes until he gets a chance to speak to them in the dressing room at half time.
Ben Davies passes the ball out to Tanguy after a corner which fizzes past multiple players inside the box and bounces around. You can then see Ndombele eyeing the shot up and managing to put a defender inbetween himself and Rui Patricio so that the goalkeepers vision was obscured. This then meant that Rui dove the wrong way and was unable to save the shot. The perfect start.
