Steve Bruce’s Newcastle side have been putting up a fight against League leaders and reigning Champions Liverpool in St. James Park tonight. Tonight marks the final Premier League game to be played in 2020 and what a rollercoaster of a year it has been. Emotions have been flowing high in the north tonight and it shows with Steve Bruce unable to control his arms as his side nearly took the lead against Klopp’s men in the first half.
The two sides went into the dressing rooms at half time level but Newcastle and Liverpool both had chances to take the lead with a brilliant save from Darklow stopping Mo Salah’s close range effort and the highlight of Newcastle’s half being that their manager wasn’t sent off for assaulting an official. Steve got a bit too excited and and he didn’t see the 4th official in front of him, he raised his elbows in excitement colliding with the back of the official’s head at force before apolgising profusely.
This one is going to hurt in the morning.
Mind out, Brucey 😂
