Son Heung-Min and Christian Benteke were involved in a tangle they’ll really want to forget today at the start of their clash between Crystal Palace and Tottenham. The pair darted at the beginning whistle with Benteke trying to get past Son into the Spurs half as fast as possible.
You can see the very moment it clicks with the two players that they should be taking the knee with their team mates. Taking the knee is a symbol to support the Black Lives Matter movement to stop racial injustice. Millwall fans became famous recently for booing their own players for taking the knee.
This is not something Son and Benteke would like to happen with their own fans so they immediately went back to taking the knee when they realised. With how pumped up they were to go, will they both score today?
