Sir Alex Ferguson attended the Leinster football final back in 1994 between Dublin and Meath, which Dublin went on to win by a signal point in a cracking final 1-09 to 1-08 in the Dubs favour. The former Manchester United and Aberdeen manager was very impressed with a number of players on the day including Meath’s Graham Geraghty, this resulted in the Meath forward getting a trail with North London club Arsenal.

Manchester United lost the Europa League final to Villarreal and boy would they love to still have the Scot in charge of the Red Devils.
