Lee Mason has just produced a howler in West Brom’s Premier League clash with Brighton as he managed to disallow, allow and then disallow a goal all in the space of a few minutes.
Dunk took a quick free-kick which went into the back of the net after Mason blew the whistle for play to commence. He then disallowed the goal saying the goalkeeper wasn’t ready.
VAR reviewed the goal and said that it should stand. Mason then went to the monitor, saw that he blew the whistle before it crossed the line and then disallowed the goal again.
The Soccer Saturday crew were not impressed and labelled “It’s a total, utter, shameful, disgraceful piece of NONSENSE!”.
