Mervyn King was his usual cheeky self after he jokingly mocked a Sky Sports presenter during his post-match interview after his 4-0 thrashing of José De Souse in their Round 3 World Darts Championship match at the Alexandra Palace on Monday.
King disposed of the recently crowned Grand Slam champion 4-0 in their Round 3 World Darts Championship match – King’s most impressive performance at the tournament to date.
After the impressive victory King spoke to Sky Sports and jokingly mocked the presenter saying he had an “ugly mug” after the interviewer forgot he had asked him a similar question about his darts earlier in the competition.
“I remember the same ugly mug right opposite me”

The pair laughed off the remarks as King went on to explain his new darts setup which are clearly working for the 54-year-old after he produced his best-ever World Championship performance, averaging 103.5 with eight 180s and 57% on the doubles in a 4-0 demolition of Jose De Sousa – who averaged 103.6.
