VIDEO: ‘Match Of The Day’ Prove Ball Went Out Of Play Before Pogba Goal Against West Ham

BBC’s ‘Match of the day’ has proven that the ball did in fact go out of play during the build up to Paul Pogba’s goal against West Ham.

The controversy began when Paul Pogba equalised for the visitors in the 65th minute after a thunderous strike from outside the West Ham box.

Following the goal West Ham manager David Moyes could be seen protesting on the sideline claiming the ball had gone out of play and MOTD have proven that he was in fact correct.

The popular football show applied their own technology to the footage of the build up and it is clear to see that the ball left the field of play by some margin.

United went on to win the game 3-1 following additional goals by Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford but it was the Pogba goal that turned the tide.

West Ham will feel very hard done by and have every right to question why VAR missed the incident or ruled that the ball did not go over the line.
