Gareth Bale managed to bring his side level just before the half time whistle against LASK with a controversial penalty being given to Jose’s men.
On first watch it seems a certain penalty but many fans are arguing that in the replays it looks like the ball strikes the LASK defender’s face and not his arm but there is no VAR in action tonight to aid the referee or overturn his call.
What do you think of the decision, did the referee get it right or would you rather have had VAR look at this one to get the right decision?
Bale then stood up to the spot and sent the keeper the wrong way before slotting it into the bottom right hand corner.

Never a pen, but what we needed!

Not deserved but we’ll take that, rip some of these fucking idiots from the first half apart and come out fresh level in the second
