Papa Bouba Diop tragically died on the 29th of November 2020 after a long battle with illness. The world of football was in mourning when the news of the ex Premier League and Senegalese footballer’s death broke.
Most well known for time in midfield in the Premier League for Fulham, the London side took their chance to pay tribute to their ex player with a moments silence and players coming together in the middle of the field.
He will always be remembered by Fulham fans for his absolute screamer of a goal against Manchester United in 2004 from long range.
