This is pure class from Westmeath’s Ciarán Doyle, what a score, he hit it on the double and it sailed over the bar. Pure class from the Westmeath player, Westmeath played Galway today in the opening game of the National Hurling League and lost on a score of 1-15 to 5-33. Can’t take anything away from the Westmeath player though, a score for the ages.

How good is to see the GAA back and especially the jewel in the crown in hurling back and back in style. Will we see fans at some of the inter-county game this year? Surely at some stage we’ll have to get back to normal the GAA lost millions last year due to the lack of fans at our National games. It would be great to see the GAA fans back at the grounds the colour and life inter-county games bring to Ireland during the months is second to none.
