Daniel Dos Santos was unbeaten as a fighter heading into his bout with Joshua Buatsi last night. The night ended in tears for the Frenchman.
All of Dos Santos’ previous 15 victories had taken place in his native France, but the fighter headed to Manchester to take on Joshua Buatsi, who was looking to build momentum ahead of a potential title shot.
Buatsi did the damage with a thumping right hand, which saw Dos Santos sent straight to sleep, collapsing onto the canvas with the fight being stopped.

It was the perfect way for Buatsi to respond to questions being posed to him after he was forced to navigate through a complicated bout with Croatian Marko Calic last time out.
As for Dos Santos, he seemingly recovered quickly, with tears being shed in the ring after the Frenchman lost his unbeaten record, and in emphatic fashion.
