Bruno was able to put his side into the lead once again against Aston Villa. United were leading after a 40′ header from Anthony Martial but Villa’s Bertrand Traore made it 1-1 early in the second half after a brilliant Jack Grealish cross.
Then came the inevitable United penalty and Bruno was able to cleanly convert from the spot with Emi Martinez guessing the wrong way but Bruno’s shot was so well placed it was unstoppable.
Clinical from the spot. 🎯
Bruno Fernandes restores Manchester United's advantage just three minutes after Bertrand Traore had drawn Aston Villa level. 🌪

It’s the penalty decision that has fans talking, VAR took a lengthy look at Douglas Luiz’s challenge on United’s Paul Pogba and eventually awarded the penalty to the home side at Old Trafford but angles show that Paul might have tripped over his own leg. The slowed down footage shows Pogba kicking his own calf before hitting the ground and fans are fuming. Do you think this should have been a penalty or has VAR got it wrong again?
