šŸšØ UFC fighter predicts Conor McGregor is ā€˜never coming backā€™ after Michael Chandler fight cancellation

Conor McGregor was recently ruled out of a return to the Octagon.

The Irishmanā€™s eagerly anticipated showdown with Michael Chandler was scrapped after he suffered an injury ahead of the fight.

UFC president, Dana White announced the news on social media and now the card will be headlined by Alex Pereiraā€™s rematch with Jiri ProchĆ”zka.

Many in the sport were sceptical of ā€˜The Notoriousā€ return including Matt Brown who now thinks that may be it for the former double UFC champion.

Speaking on the latest episode ofĀ The Fighter vs. The Writer he said: ā€œI was never confident before that he would [come back].ā€

ā€œIt didnā€™t shock me when I saw he was out of this fight. No, Iā€™m still on that same train ā€” heā€™s not ever coming back.ā€

He continued,Ā ā€œI say the same thing I said before, I hope he proves me wrong. I hope Iā€™m wrong. I would like to see Conor fight again. I would like to see him do a real training camp with real training partners, push himself hard, go back to the great Conor that he was before. I would love to see that. I think a lot of people would love to see that. Itā€™s not happening.ā€
