Conor McGregor hasnât fought in the Octagon for over three years.
The Irishman hasnât featured in the UFC since his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier where he suffered a horrible leg-break.
He was due to return against Michael Chandler earlier in the year but had to pull-out of the contest, this time due to a toe injury.
Many are sceptical on whether âThe Notoriousâ will ever fight again including UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.

âThe dude doesnât look good in life right now,â Muhammad told Submission Radio.
âHe looks like heâs coked out. He looks like heâs on drugs. I mean, if he beats Michael Chandler, like, I wouldnât even let him skip the line, because like I said, thereâs guys that work for it. Thereâs guys that got here. And then even with the last fight with Colby [Covington] skipping the line for Leon [Edwards], Iâm like, I would never do that because thereâs guys that are actually putting the work in. And for legacy-wise, obviously, I would want to slap Conor around. But yeah, like there would be too much for it not to happen, right?â
âIt took him this long to fight this fight,â Muhammad continued. âIt took him this long to make this fight happen with Chandler. So for them to even think that, âoh, Conorâs going to fight for the welterweight belt,â then I gotta sit here and wait two years. Nah, itâs not going to happen. Iâll give it to the guys that are actually fighting, guys that are actually putting the work in and guys that deserve it. Conor doesnât deserve it. I hope he fights Chandler, because I feel bad for Chandler that Chandler waited this long for it. So I hope that fight actually happens. But honestly, I donât think it happens.â
