Yes it was great to see Cavan win the Ulster Championship but sadly today they came up against a team at another level. And quite frankly at another level to the vast majority of teams in the country.
And as you can imagine twitter reacted to all that unfolded at Croke Park today.
I knew the Cavan fans wouldn’t pay for a ticket, but for this All Ireland semifinal to reach half time and the Hill 16 crowd are yet to show up…outrageous complacency from Dublin fans #GAA #dubvcav

I think an All-Ireland semi-final in an empty Croke Park is a fascinating glimpse into the future. #DUBvCAV #GAA

For Cavan to have had any chance the game needed to be played on a heavier pitch. Dublins athleticism far too much for them in Croker. #dubvcav

The Dubs are so relentless and so omnipresent you’d wonder how they ever stuck to the 5km Covid limits #dubvcav

Pundits & fans will say Cavan have done themselves proud but the reality is that the Dubs would be them playing in flip flops. #1stGear #GAA #dubvcav
