Taking to X formerly Twitter he wrote: âJust wrapped up an important meeting now with my team, planning for the upcoming fights that we will make for 2024-2025. I decided to disregard the Canelo fight, as I donât want it anymore.
Instead, I will be focusing for the US market with bigger fights, especially for the legend Crawford.â

The Mexican superstar then gave his version of events.
Canelo said he was contacted about a fight with Terence Crawford but is focused on his match against Berlanga right now.
âI donât like the way he talks. Itâs his problem, not my problem. If he wants to fight me with other guys, he needs to do it my way. Not his way,â said Canelo
