🚨 Tony Bellew responds to Derek Chisora’s shock call-out

Derek Chisora had teased a huge showdown with Tony Bellew.

Chisora, 40, is fresh off of a win over Joe Joyce who he managed to defeat via a unanimous decision.

The popular heavyweight has boxed 48 times professionally and is aiming to reach the magic number of 50 before calling it a day and hanging up the gloves.

To many people’s surprise though he targeted his friend, Tony Bellew who has been retired since 2018 for a dance in Manchester.

But it doesn’t look like ‘The Bomber’ has any interest in a fight with Chisora and speaking to IFL TV he explained exactly why.

He said: “No, it’s not happening. I love him. He claims to be my little brother. He claims to be younger than me. Absolutely no chance.

“Me and Derek have sparred hundreds of rounds together and anyone who has watched them will attest to how good [they were]. Styles make fights but I would never put ten-ounce gloves on and want to hit Derek Chisora. I just couldn’t hurt him.”

With the Liverpudlian ruling himself out of a fight with Chisora who would you like to see him face next? Let us know in the comments.
