What a win that was last night for England in Marseille in the south of France, a lot of the English supporters and rugby people in general aren’t happy at the red card that England flanker Tom Curry received and rightly so.
I know we’re trying to make the game safer, but that is simply a rugby collision/accident, not a whole pile more Tom Curry would do in this incident.

There won’t be any suspension for Tom Curry after that incident, the England flanker is not a dirty player and doesn’t have a history of anything. World Rugby need to get this right, accidents do happen, it’s a contact sport.

Never a red. Ref could/should have over-ruled the bunker idiots.
WRU need to issue urgen clarification as it is obvious some officials can’t interpret the rules.
If you go into contact upright then a clash of heads is always likely and is never an accident.

This was unavoidable – how in real time can you predict the flight, landing and stumble of a player jumping for the ball and have time to get lower or avoid it n this case beats me. Madness.

The whole contact sport world is suffering from the sue them mentality from the USA and the generation we now have who must be protected from everything. How about protecting them from social media and electronics it’s where this crap is circulated.
Unbelievably poor decision. Totally accidental. The red card should be rescinded immediately so that common sense prevails. You really haven’t played the game if you think he could have got out the way in that split second!
Common sense has gone out of the window. So what’s new with rugby Union governance. Not thought through and not any sense of logic. A suspension after this and Jesse Kriel gets no penalty it’s bollocks !
World rugby – ridiculous! Curry was bent at the hip for the tackle. The Argentinian’s knees bent as he came down. That’s the mitigation you keep harping on about. Not a red card. Worse still is the inconsistency- in the same weekend a similar one got yellow and another, not even a penalty.
Institute laws that referees can work with and doesn’t destroy the game. We understand the need to reduce head injury but you’ve got the balance very wrong
