Olivier Giroud stole the show last night in the Champions League as he broke a record to become the oldest player to score a Champions League hat trick. Not just a hat trick as he found the back of Sevilla’s net 4 times before being given a standing ovation from the Chelsea bench.

Lampard had comments on the french man after last night’s thumping saying “He is the ultimate professional and I think he’s done that in his career and I think that’s why with Oli, you see his numbers for France and you his numbers in the Champions League.”.
Giroud revealed in November that he was thinking of leaving Stamford Bridge but Chelsea fans may not want that when they hear that since the ex-Arsenal man has joined them, they have a 74% win ratio when he starts.
u/paicmhsc on reddit created a Google Docs Spreadsheet where he worked out how many games Chelsea have won and lost with Giroud in and out of the starting lineup.
Chelsea have played 153 games since signing Olivier and he has started 50 of those, winning 37 out of those 50. Should Chelsea keep him and give him more game time or should they let him go to make more space for a younger talent?
