Merab Dvalishvili comfortably beat “Suga” Sean O’Malley to become the UFC bantamweight champion.
The Georgian grappling machine dominated the fight taking O’Malley to the mat repeatedly for much of their five-round contest and winning on the scorecards : 49-46, 48-47, 48-47 to dethrone O’ Malley.
One moment in a pretty boring fight that caught the eye though was when Dvalishvili had control of O’Malley and decided to plant several kisses on his back.
O’ Malley didn’t take too kindly to this and came out swinging.

Fight fans reacted to the strange moment.
One said: ‘That’s disrespect on another level.’
Another added: ‘Protect yourself at all times.’
A third commented: ‘He just lil bro’ed o’malley.’
A fourth summed it up nicely: ‘It really was the kiss of death to O’Malley’s championship reign.’
