The star-studded lineups for David Beckham’s UNICEF Match for Children at Old Trafford have been named.
Beckham will captain the Great Britain & Ireland team which will have the likes of Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Jamie Carragher at their disposal with Sir. Alex Ferguson taking over as manager.
The Rest of the World XI will be led by Zinedine Zidane who have a much stronger team with Ronaldinho, Luis Figo and Alessandro Nesta, just to name a few, available to their manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Fittingly, given the location, a number of former Manchester United greats are among the lineups with Edwin van der Sar, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer just some of the Red Devils legends named thus far.
There will be plenty more of the world’s biggest former stars on show as World Cup winners Cafu, Fabio Cannavaro and old United enemy Patrick Vieira are also due to play.
Here are the the players that have been announced so far, per Sky News’ Tom Boadle:
