The FA and EFL are considering two dates on the fixture list as test events to being the reintroduction of fans to football stadiums across the UK.
According to Sky Sports, the FA and EFL are working with the British government in an attempt to get fans back inside Wembley for the the FA Cup final and the Carabao Cup final.
Both governing bodies have their hands tied and it will ultimately be the decision on the government as they will have to decide if the virus is under sufficient control in order to green light such events.
The FA and EFL are hoping to be granted permission to open up one third of Wembley stadium to fans by the time the finals are scheduled to be played which is late April and mid-May.
Should the government deem the situation to be viable it means that both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup finals will be allowed to host an attendance of 30,000 spectators, which will be the largest the UK has seen since the pandemic hit.
