Worrying times for Sbu Nkosi as the South African winger has reportedly tested positive for the use of a banned substance.

MORE HERE: 🚨The Brits don’t know what to make of this ‘brilliant game with sticks’ ..

The 28-year-old, who won the Rugby World Cup with the Springboks in 2019, was missing from the Cheetahs’ matchday 23 for the Currie Cup clash against the Bulls at Loftus this weekend and may have already played his final game.

According to a report by respected South African newspaper, the Rapport, Nkosi was tested by World Rugby along with three other Springboks in May this year.

His A sample reportedly tested positive for the use of anabolic steroids which is mainly used by bodybuilders.

If Nkosi’s B sample also tests positive, he faces a potential ban of up to four years and it is seldom the case that the A sample is positive and the B sample is not.

  1. Test all the team if one players doing it they all probably are. This may be the only reason why they have won rugby games, afterall, they do play with brutality sometimes. This casts a doubt on all their recent rugby games, sad to think that the only way they think they can win is by using drugs. Test everyone playing rugby union games.

    1. So, you think if other kids in your child’s class are taking drugs. Then you child must be too?

      1. All the Rugby playing Nations players should and must be tested you Dumb and Stupid motherfucker. Why single out the Boks only.In your opinion the other Nations should be exempt from dope testing Asshole.🖕

    2. If one woman in a village sleeps around; then all the women in the village are sleeping around. BTW what village do you come from?

    3. Your comment is rubbish. This player has not been part of the squad since 2019. He has in this period developed mental illness issues including going missing for a long period of time. A team as high profile as the Springboks will not indulge in these practises as testing is possible at any time. Rassie would never stand for it. So just because we are world champions and you are all jealous of our standing as number 1, please desist from making cheap statements about the whole team set up

      1. Totally agree with you comments here. The rest of the Rugby World is very Jealous and Sulky about the cohesiveness and skill sets in ongoing Springbok teams and it literally drives them nuts, as to how are they going to overcome this situation..

      2. Well said. These haters will grab any opportunity to diss the Boks. The fact that he has been missing from rugby since 2019 and has mental issues is irrelevant in their narrative

    4. So you really think it could only be springboks using steroids.
Don’t be daft woman. That’s one guy in the team and there will probably be guys from other teams as well. Go watch netball rather and pass stupid comments there

    5. Wow Maria. Your logic is extremely flawed when making such a sweeping statement like that. Seriously???

    6. Maria I think you don’t have a clue what is going in sport. This man is since 2019 basically out of rugby. In Pretoria he ran away and was missing for a couple of weeks. The Bulls tried everything to get him inline but he must have a problem.

  2. This is honestly just the most useless and pathetic statement I have read in a very long time.
Clearly you know nothing about the testing process and clearly nothing more about rugby itself.

  3. Hey woman cach a wake up 8 months after the fact, there’s news about a banned, how far will you narrow minded people go,we won 2 wc consecutively end of story

  4. Yes all teams and all professional players should be up for random testing thought the year and random players need to be tested weekly in competition…
