As South African get ready for their trip up north to take on Scotland, England and Wales, there’s news going around about one of their star props and former Ulster loose-head Steven Kitshoff.
Kitshoff’s future in rugby hangs in the balance, with a medical specialist set to determine whether the veteran Springbok prop will be able to return to the field.
The 32-year-old had just returned to Cape Town after an underwhelming stint with Ulster when he suffered the injury in a Currie Cup match, which has seen him miss out on all the Springboks Tests since the World Cup final.
