By Robert McNamara
It was an easy day for Kerry at Croke Park as they shifted through the gears with ease and put a very sombre looking Kildare team out of the Championship.
The main talking points on the day centred around how poor Kildare were, how anyone can possible stop Kerry in this form, the television coverage and the song choices of the Artane Boys’ Band!
Here’s how Twitter reacted to the win for the Kingdom.
Championship Sundays are a uniquely Irish experience but many people were aghast at how one-sided the game was
@TheSundayGame @RTEsport you know its championship Sunday when your 5yr old starts to sing along wit the theme tune #sundaygame #GAA

Even on bank holiday Sunday, no rest for the wicked. Paper, tea and unfortunately #GAA on TV.

This has to be one of the least competitive Football Championships in ages. Very few close games and no big upsets. Too many hammerings #GAA

A season of drubbings and one sided matches. Compare that to Donegal's path. Come winter days this has to be top of Congress' agenda #GAA

The #AllIreland championship has been shown this year to be a joke, it needs a radical overhaul or it will lose its appeal. #GAA
