🚨 Sir Alex Ferguson says only FOUR of the Manchester United players he managed were ‘world class’

Sir Alex Ferguson has made a big claim about some of his former stars.

The legendary manager guided the Red Devils to a sensational 13 Premier League titles in his illustrious career.

It’s safe to say the Scotsman has some very high standards and this was highlighted when he named only four ‘world class’ players that he managed when at Old Trafford excluding notable names like Wayne Rooney and Roy Keane.

In his book Leading: Learning from Life and My Years at Manchester United he wrote:

“If you read the papers or listen to the television commentators, we seem to be awash with ‘world-class’ footballers.

“I don’t mean to demean or criticise any of the great or very good footballers who played for me during my 26-year career at United, but there were only four who were world class: [Eric] Cantona, [Ryan] Giggs, [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Paul] Scholes.

“And of the four Cristiano was like an ornament on the top of a Christmas tree.”
