The Munster and Ireland full-back/winger Simon Zebo will retire from rugby at the end of the season, what a player the 35 year old has been for both province and country and indeed Racing 92 in his few year in the French capital. See Zebo’s post and some of the comments underneath below ..

What a legacy you leave in red and green, you’ve shown young and not so young that rugby can be fun as well as ferocious, congratulations on a fantastic career, enjoy more family time Zeebs and we look forward to your new beginnings, if that’s punditry then it’s a win win

Box office. Genuinely one of the best to ever play for Munster and Ireland. To hear the next generations calling your name at Thomond says it all. A player who transcends time. hopefully you remain in rugby in some form or other.

What a fantastic ambassador for the sport of rugby. You’ve brought so much pride to your family, school, club, Provence and Country. Always so gracious with your time to kids and young players. Wish you and your family the best with your new adventures.

The single most joyous rugby player I have ever had the privilege to watch live. Thank you.
