🚨 Shock named linked to replace Erik ten Hag at Manchester United

Erik ten Hag’s United future is increasingly uncertain after 3-0 defeat by Tottenham.

Manchester United were easily brushed aside at home by the London club.

Although the Dutchman is in charge now speculation has risen that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will assess the situation during the international break later this month.

One of the names linked to the job is the Italian, Simone Inzaghi who is currently in charge at Inter Milan and has been for the the last three years.

Last season Inzaghi led them to the Serie A title and has won two Coppa Italias.

In 2023 he guided them to the Champions League final where they were beaten by Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

According to Goal, it would cost United a cool £17.5million to look for a new manager following ten Hag’s contract extension after they won the FA Cup last season.

Ex-pros have slammed Manchester United’s performances this season including Paul Scholes.

Following the defeat to Spurs he said: “They look like an uncoached football team.

“We’re two and a bit years in now aren’t we? From the first week, Postecoglou went in, we probably knew what Tottenham were going to do. And they’re doing it to this day.

“Players looked dead today. They looked flat. They looked [like] I don’t know what to do. There’s no enthusiasm for the game of football. And that can only come from the training pitch. Some of the positions that people take up on the pitch, it’s just madness at times.”

Will ten Hag be replaced this season? Let us know in the comments.
