Roy Keane revealed all to Tommy Tiernan during an interview on RTE Saturday night.
The former Manchester United midfielder sat down with Tommy Tiernan on his show Saturday night. Keane revealed a lot about his professional and personal life including the ‘very bad’ date that he had with his now wife, Theresa Doyle.

The two got married in 1997 and now have five children together but it got off to a rough start.
The 51-year-old detailed the calamitous 15-minute date that ended up with a car door being slammed in his face.
‘It went very badly. We met, I picked her up at the City Ground at Forest and we went for a spin. I said to her, ‘Do you fancy going to the pictures?’ Because at least at the pictures you can just watch the movie, you don’t have to chat too much, and she said no!’ Keane said.
‘She said, “No, I went last night with my friends.” And I said, “Well, there are other movies on”.
‘I said “do you want to go for a drink” and she said no… I literally went back to the car, this was all within 10, 15 minutes and she said, “What are you doing?”
‘I said, “Well you don’t want to go for a drink, you don’t want to go to the pictures, what else can we do?”
‘And she got out [of the car], I said, “I might see you next week?” She said, “I don’t think so” and slammed the door.
