The former Derry footballer and All-Ireland winner Joe Brolly has called on the Roscommon referee’s to go on striker for the rest of the year and to not officiate anymore games this year! Writing in his column with the Independent and on his twitter Brolly said

‘The Roscommon referees should strike until the end of the season. Without games to play or watch, we will soon realise our volunteer referees are priceless, deserving of our respect & protection. We should all be ashamed of ourselves…’ 

This has been a long time coming in the GAA this individual should be banned for life and it should be handed over the Gardai. Disgraceful incident and it’s about time the GAA came down hard on these individuals.
