The former Liverpool and England striker Peter Crouch makes a great point as to why this weekend’s fixtures in the Premier League should go ahead. The former Stoke City player said;
‘I know it’s only a game and some things are much bigger but imagine all our games went ahead this weekend. Black armbands, silences observed, national anthem, Royal band playing etc to the millions around the world watching ? Isn’t that a better send off ?’

The 41 year old is still hugely popular amongst the fans and makes for a good pundit on BT Sport, should the games went ahead this weekend and showed a united front for the country of England? We send our thoughts and condolences to everyone in the UK at the moment.
This is a very debatable point. I agree Peter Crouch makes a very good argument in its favour however you always get some clown that is likely to start.
What’s wrong with cancelling all the sport in her honour . One weekend off for a monarch who gracefully ruled us for 70 years is that too much to have . And realising family ties
