Pep Guardiola gave a BIZARRE interview after losing the Manchester derby

The Spanish coach wasn’t in the best of moods while speaking in his post-match interview on Saturday.

Manchester United surprised everyone when they beat their neighbors 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

It shows just how far Erik ten Hag has brought his side since his arrival in the summer.

Only a few months ago they were humiliated at the hands of Manchester City now they go just one point behind them in the league.

However, there was a controversial moment during the game which led to United’s equalizing goal.

Marcus Rashford was offside when he was played in behind the City defence but did not touch the ball. Bruno Fernandes capitalized on this and rifles the ball into the back of the net.

The goal was originally ruled out but then shortly overturned afterwards.

Speaking after the game Guardiola was clearly unhappy with the decision.

‘Well, Rashford is off-side, Bruno Fernandes is not,’ Guardiola said.

‘Whether Rashford intervened and distracted our keeper and our central defenders, I don’t know. The rule is the rule.’

The Man City manager then bizarrely went onto say he doesn’t care about winning the league.

‘I don’t care about the Premier League and the Carabao Cup, we cannot win,’ he told BT Sport.

‘We won a lot, so it’s not a problem.’
