Manchester United legend Paul Scholes to come back to football?
“I miss being involved with football. I miss the day-to-day involvement of just having a kickabout or just playing and training with a team and I miss the Saturday afternoons,” Scholes said, via the Mirror, at the press screening for the BBC’s upcoming Class of 92: Out of Their League documentary.
Scholes retired from football in 2013 after 20 seasons and 18 major trophies at Old Trafford, but the midfielder may be ready return to the game.
“I spoke to Oldham [Athletic] in the summer, only a brief chat with the chairman, Simon Corney. But it wasn’t the right time for me at that particular moment. In time to come, maybe.”
