The 27 year old Fossa and Kerry footballer Paudie Clifford won the Junior All-Ireland today with his club and the scenes afterwards were both good and bad, but Clifford’s speech at full-time was labelled as a bit childish by some online. Especially the part where he had to mention the referee’s for sending him off.
Whether you agree or not with it, it’s the refs call and that’s that and the game was over they won, so it probably wasn’t needed mentioning that in his speech, they are human at the end of the day.
But congrats to Fossa and everyone involved in that set up and great day for the Kerry club and the celebrations in the Kingdom this evening will be surreal I’m sure..
