Oscar De La Hoya has slammed Floyd Mayweatherâs recent antics.
The self proclaimed âTBEâ is still pretty active in the ring, albeit only being involved in strange exhibitions at best.
His recent outing was against John Gotti with Mayweather bizarrely âfiringâ referee mid-fight much to the bemusement of fight fans.
His old rival, De La Hoya is not one to shy away from the limelight himself. In recent times he has gone viral for dancing with his girlfriend in some questionable attire.

But in his latest video heâs given his assessment on Floydâs referee stunt.
He said: A real sh*t show that left the crowd booing in the arena at the end⌠He [Floyd Mayweather] didnât like the referee told him to stop hitting behind the head. Floyd is used to having the refs do what he wants, and he wasnât getting his way this time. It was so embarrassing.â
He continued, âFloyd, you are 50 years old. You are a legend in the sport⌠But you have to stop embarrassing yourself.â
âI know life is hard, life is expensive, but come on, dude. Put your legacy first. Nobody wants to remember you like this⌠Itâs hard to make money, but even harder to keep it. Floyd, Iâm rooting for you. Come on, letâs turn it around.â
