🚨 Oleksandr Usyk gives brutally honest assessment on Daniel Dubois ahead of clash with Anthony Joshua

Daniel Dubois takes on Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium on September 21st.

The British heavyweights will battle if out for Dubois’ IBF title.

One man that has faced them both is Oleksandr Usyk who became the unified champion when defeating Joshua in 2021 by unanimous decision.

He then defended the belts against ‘AJ’ this time scoring a win by split-decision.

In August of last year he defended his titles against Dubois and was dropped by a body shot, but the punch was ruled as a low-blow and he recovered to stop the Brit in round 9 of the contest.

It’s safe to say the Ukrainian doesn’t think that Dubois can reach the same heights that the former champion, Joshua has reached.

Speaking to Boxing News he said:

“I treat Daniel Dubois with respect. I wish him good luck, and let him become the champion someday – that he trains well … There is no way to compare [Dubois and Joshua], because they are completely different fighters. Different skills; different styles. Totally different boxers. To be fair, I don’t think [Dubois can reach Joshua’s level]. I am sorry for saying this, but this is the truth and I’m telling it.”
