Newcastle United have been listed among a group of clubs interested in signing Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Magpies have been on an extraordinary run since they were able to invest some of the Saudi cash in the January transfer window. As a result, they finished yesterday in ninth place, a quite remarkable achievement considering many wrote them off after the turn of the year.

There is still work to do on the squad, however, and if they have legitimate ambitions of getting into Champions League contention, the club owners are going to have to loosen the purse strings to an even greater extent in order to close the gap in quality with their competitors.
According to Fichajes, they are looking to the Parc des Princes as they plan for their summer recruitment. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas is understood to be on the Geordie club’s radar, with the former Real Madrid stopper expected to leave at the end of the current season.
It shouldn’t be difficult to tempt players of Navas’ calibre to St. James’ Park, considering how exciting the project is and the sheer amount of cash on offer for those who sign. That said, only time will tell if this specific deal comes to fruition.
