Barcelona have been left in what could possibly the worst state in the history of the club thanks to past president Josep Batomeu. Fans had been calling for his resignation for years and were finally granted their wish when he left the club this year. A man who spent hundreds of millions on signings that haven’t worked like Griezmann, Coutinho and injury prone Ousmane Dembele. He made these signings while ruining Barcelona’s heritage and their history of bringing in players from La Masia.
Worst of all, due to the huge amounts that Josep spent on players and Covid-19, Barcelona are in a state of financial crisis as was revealed today that they will not be able to pay players salaries come January. The new interim president revealed today that if he was president, he would have sold Messi in the Summer to solve their money problems.
Does this mean with Carles Tusquets at the wheel, that Messi’s time in Camp Nou is coming to an end, will we finally see him move to a new club when the transfer window opens in January?

“Hubiese vendido a Messi” translates as
“I would have sold Messi.”
Where would you like to see Messi play next season?
