The former Ulster and now Munster and Irish centre Chris Farrell is under investigation and will step away from the Munster squad with immediate effect. This is to do with a rape case that happened back in 2017 in France.
“Munster Rugby and Chris Farrell have agreed that, with immediate effect, he will be stepping back from his involvement with the Munster squad whilst legal proceedings in France, concerning his alleged involvement as a witness to an alleged crime in 2017, are on-going.
“As this is an active legal matter before the French courts, we have no further comment,” the statement said.

Munster Rugby have confirmed that Chris Farrell "will be stepping back from his involvement" with the squad with immediate effect.
This is due to ongoing legal proceedings in France related to Farrell's alleged involvement as a witness to an alleged crime in 2017.
