Awful news came out of Cork and Munster this weekend with the passing of Eoin French a talented young musician and a lad that played for UCC and Sunday’s Well Rugby club in Cork.
Sunday’s Well Rugby club in Cork took to their Facebook page to say the following;
We were very saddened to hear of the passing of former player Eoin French (Frenchy) yesterday after a long illness. Funeral Service today at 4pm in Leap. Thoughts go out to his family and friends during this time. May he rest in peace. “Away the well”

Eoin passed away after a short illness and this news has given everyone in Cork and indeed Munster/Ireland a huge shock. We send our deepest condolences to his close family and friends.
