Michael “Venom” Page is eyeing up a huge showdown in the UK.

After 10 years with Bellator, Page finally made the move to the UFC and makes his debut at UFC 299 against Kevin Holland but that hasn’t stopped him for looking ahead to the current Welterweight champion, Leon Edwards.

Speaking with UFC Europe, Page said: “It’s not really just the fight. It’s more about the occasion.”

“And this is Leon Edwards and I’m cool with him, there’s no bad blood there, but like I said we’re prize fighters at the end of the day.”

“But we also spoke about what was happening in the UK and what’s happening for the UK right now. I can already foresee me, Leon Edwards in a stadium in the UK.”

“Regardless of what happens, the result on that day, the belt stays with the UK.”

Edwards won the title in in dramatic fashion with a sensational head kick of Kamaru Usman. He then defended the belt against the same opponent before comfortably defeating a poor Colby Covington in December.
