Maybe over the season, itâs fair to say the four best teams are in the semi-finals,â he wrote.
âStill, itâs unbelievable really that the hurling quarters didnât take centre-stage this weekend.
âNow, I felt six days out there was no way you could change it, but they should have been given precedence.
âThere are too many meaningless matches in the All-Ireland football series that are taking up too much time in the schedule. A rethink is needed for next year.â
To quote the famous Cork goalkeeper, âhurling needs oxygenâ it certainly does, the GAA need to wake up and give hurling all the help it needs.
