Conor McGregor’s coach and fighter Johnny Walker were booted out of the T-Mobile Arena by the UFC last night.
Walker, coached by John Kavanagh, who also trains former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor, opened last night’s UFC 279 card with a rear-naked choke submission victory over Ion Cuțelaba.
Walker will have been on top of the world, no doubt, but he was swiftly brought back down to earth after allegedly being booted out of the T-Mobile Arena alongside coach Kavanagh.
Kavanagh took to social media as the story unfolded to reveal that Walker had been escorted out without any shoes on, despite opening the card, and winning – how very bizarre.
So @ufc just came and kicked us out. No tickets for us and not allowed stay back stage to watch. Pulled out back door, kicked out, no even shoes on 😅 pic.twitter.com/av78OBETZM

Dana White claims to have no knowledge of what happened and could provide no explanation as to why Walker and Kavanagh were forced to leave the arena without even being given a chance to get changed.
It’s not often you see mishaps of this magnitude in high-level sport, so make no mistake, Dana will be seriously embarrassed about it and will no doubt be looking for an explanation from those involved.
