Floyd Mayweather knocked out Mikuru Asakura in what must be his most laughable exhibition bout to date.
Mayweather has made no secret of his desire to rinse the sport of boxing for every penny he can, while there not being any possibility of him actually getting hurt.
The pound-for-pound great is not putting his flawless 50-0 record on the line and is fighting people with absolutely no right to be in the ring with a fighter of his calibre.
He has also, as per The Sun, earned up to £20m for two rounds of boxing against Mikuru Asakura, a Japanese MMA fighter with no prior boxing experience.
Asakura’s lack of boxing acumen showed, too, with Mayweather finishing him with a seemingly innocuous punch merely a few minutes into the contest.
It didn’t even look as though Mayweather caught him clean, but Asakura was looking for an excuse to quit. What a laughable knockout…
